Refund & Cancellation Policy

We are committed to fair and transparent dealings. This policy outlines your rights and our process for cancellations and refunds across all Calynex services and products.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases, consultations, design projects, and product orders made through Calynex Private Limited, whether initiated online, in person, or via email correspondence.
2. Cancellation by Client
Clients may cancel a confirmed order or project engagement subject to the following schedule:
- Cancellation within 48 hours of booking — Full refund of advance paid, provided no design work or procurement has commenced.
- Cancellation between 48 hours and 7 days — 75% refund of the advance. A 25% administrative and design fee is non-refundable.
- Cancellation after 7 days (design/procurement not started) — 50% refund of the advance paid.
- Cancellation after procurement or production has commenced — No refund on costs already incurred (materials, custom orders, third-party charges). Remaining balance will be assessed case by case.
- Cancellation after installation has begun — No refund applicable. Client remains liable for full project value.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to calynexprivatelimited@gmail.com with your project reference number.
3. Cancellation by Calynex
Calynex reserves the right to cancel an order or project in the event of:
- Payment failure or non-clearance of advance
- Unavailability of specified products or materials
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
- Any breach of our Terms and Conditions by the client
In such cases, Calynex will refund 100% of any advance payment received within 7–10 business days.
4. Product Returns
Standard products (non-custom, non-installed) may be returned within 7 days of delivery subject to the following conditions:
- Product is unused and in original, undamaged packaging
- All accessories, manuals, and warranty cards are included
- A valid proof of purchase / invoice is provided
- Return shipping costs are borne by the client unless the return is due to a defect or wrong item delivered
Non-returnable items: Custom-made or bespoke fixtures, items that have been installed, altered, or modified, and products damaged due to misuse or improper handling are not eligible for return or refund.
5. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is defective or damaged in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange for:
- A replacement of the same product at no additional cost, or
- A full refund if a replacement cannot be arranged within a reasonable time
Claims raised beyond 48 hours of delivery will be evaluated under our standard warranty process.
6. Refund Process
Once a refund is approved by our team:
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
- Processing time: 7–10 business days from approval date
- For payments made via Cashfree, the refund timeline is additionally subject to your bank's processing schedule
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated
7. Consultation Fees
Initial consultation fees (if charged) are non-refundable once the consultation session has taken place. If Calynex cancels or reschedules a consultation without providing an alternative slot within 7 days, a full refund of the consultation fee will be issued.
8. Disputes
If you have a concern about a refund or cancellation that has not been resolved to your satisfaction, please write to us at calynexprivatelimited@gmail.com. We aim to resolve all disputes within 14 business days. Unresolved disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
